TERMS OF SERVICE

(Last updated: 26th October 2026)

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the PlanNest website and to purchases made through our online store. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About us
PlanNest is operated by John O'Brien, a sole trader trading as PlanNest, based on the Isle of Man.
Address: 12a King William's Way, Castletown, Isle of Man, IM9 1DH
Email: hello.plannest@gmail.com

2. Our products
We sell digital products, supplied as downloadable files: spreadsheet templates (Excel .xlsx files) and small web apps (single HTML files that open in your web browser). We also sell printed items such as posters, which are made to order by our print partner and posted to you. We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions and images are accurate. Screenshots of digital products show example figures, which you replace with your own. Colours on printed items may vary slightly from your screen.

3. Prices
All prices are in GBP (£). Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect an order we have already accepted, except where required by law.

4. Placing an order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the product selected. You will receive an order confirmation email, followed by an email with your download link. We may cancel an order where there is a genuine error or a reasonable reason we cannot fulfil it. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund.

5. Payment
Payments are processed securely through the payment methods available at checkout. We do not store your full payment card details.

6. Delivery of digital products
After your payment is confirmed, we will email you a link to download your file. Please check your spam or junk folder if you cannot find it. If you have a problem, contact us with your order number.

7. Cancellation and refunds
For digital products, you can cancel within 14 days of purchase if you have not yet downloaded the file. Once you download or begin to use the file, you lose your right to cancel, because the digital content has been supplied. Please see our Returns & Refunds policy for full details. Printed items are made to order and can't be returned for change of mind. See our Returns & Refunds policy for what we do if a print arrives damaged or incorrect.

8. Faulty or incorrectly described products
Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a file is faulty or not as described, please contact us and we will repair or replace it or, if we cannot, refund you. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

9. Licence and permitted use
When you buy a PlanNest product, you get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it for your own personal use. You may not resell, share, redistribute or publish the file, or claim it as your own.

10. Not financial or other advice
Our templates and apps are tools to help you organise your own information. They do not provide financial, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for checking the figures you enter and the results. Warranty dates calculated by our tools are only as accurate as the details you enter, so always check the retailer's or manufacturer's terms.

11. Alcohol-related content
Our Home Bar app contains cocktail recipes and is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Please drink responsibly. Quantities are guides only.

12. Third-party names and links
Some products contain links that open a search on a third-party website, such as Tesco. These are provided for convenience only. PlanNest is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesco or any brand named in our products, and we are not responsible for third-party websites, prices or availability.

13. Website use and intellectual property
You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or use our website for unlawful purposes. All content on the PlanNest website and in our products belongs to PlanNest or our licensors unless otherwise stated.

14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page.

15. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man. If you are a consumer, you may also have the benefit of mandatory consumer protection laws in the country where you live.
