Good to know

• Excel file (.xlsx), designed for Microsoft Excel. It may also open in Google Sheets or Apple Numbers, but some features, like drop-down lists and the chart, may look different
• Amounts are in pounds sterling (£)
• Formulas are built in. You only type in the yellow cells
• Interest is worked out monthly (the yearly rate divided by 12), so your lender's figures may differ slightly. Use it as a guide
